Cleaning is included in all venue hire packages and covers vacuuming, mopping, and a general wipe-down of venue surfaces.

Guests are responsible for removing all rubbish, decorations, catering items and personal belongings from the venue at the conclusion of their event.

• All booking times are inclusive of bump in/out. • Evening events: music must conclude by 1:00 am and the venue must be vacated by 1:30 am. • No deliveries or pickups will be accepted outside your booking time. • See below for more frequently asked questions.

FAQ

Can I BYO food and beverages?
Yes, you are welcome to BYO food and beverages or engage your own caterer, mobile bar service or food vendor.

What is the venue capacity?
The venue comfortably accommodates up to 80 guests for cocktail-style events. For seated events, we recommend a maximum of 50 guests.

Are food preparation and catering facilities available?
Yes, the venue includes a fully equipped kitchen with a 900mm oven, five-burner gas cooktop, refrigerator and large stainless steel preparation bench. The bench can be used as a bar, catering station or serving area. Depending on the size and setup of your event, there is often sufficient space for both.

Is there parking nearby?
Yes, paid parking is available approximately 50 metres from the venue entrance. Parking is available via PayStay or coin-operated meters.

Can I decorate the venue?
Yes, you're welcome to style and decorate the venue for your event. We ask that no damage is caused to walls, floors or other surfaces, and that all decorations are removed at the conclusion of your booking.

Are tables and chairs included?
No, tables and chairs are not included in venue hire. Furniture hire packages are available. Please see above for rates and images of available furniture.

Is there loading access?
Yes, there are two loading zones located directly outside the venue for deliveries and event setup.

Can I bring my own DJ or entertainment?
Yes, external DJs, musicians and entertainment providers are welcome.

Does my booking include bump-in and bump-out?
Yes. All booking times include both setup and pack down. Please ensure all deliveries, collections and supplier access occur within your booked hire period.

Can I access the venue before my booking starts?
No. Venue access, deliveries and collections must occur within your booked hire period

Is the venue wheelchair accessible? Blondes Garage is located on the first floor and is accessed via a staircase. Unfortunately, the venue does not currently offer wheelchair access.

Is there a sound system available?
No, the venue does not have a built-in sound system. We can assist with organising PA system hire to suit the size and requirements of your event.

Is cleaning included?
Yes, cleaning is included in all venue hire packages and covers vacuuming, mopping and a general wipe down of the kitchen and venue surfaces.

Guests are responsible for removing all decorations, catering items and rubbish from the venue at the conclusion of their event. Any excess cleaning, rubbish removal or damage will incur additional charges.

Is a bond required?
Yes. A refundable bond of $1,000 is required for most events. A bond of up to $1,500 may apply for larger events.

Can I hire furniture through the venue?
Yes, furniture hire packages are available. Please see above for rates and images of available furniture.

What time must music finish?
Music must conclude by 1:00am, with the venue vacated and all rubbish removed by 1:30am.

Can I view the venue before booking?
Venue inspections are available by appointment.

Do you offer shorter hire periods?
Workshop rates are available upon request.
